Trevor Boulton MBA IT was raised in multicultural Melbourne, Australia. Settling in Queenland with wife Annie, they established boultons MultiMedia in 1995 to produce leading edge PC based souvenir products. The innovative FastTrack Languages range soon followed, these sold in Harvey Norman and other major Australian department stores.
Annie Boulton has extensive qualifications and experience in the beauty industry and uses her personal presentation skills in many training video productions for government and industry.
Annie and Trevor (with their son Dan) have travelled extensively and taught English as a second language in China, Tibet & The Philippines. Both hold TESOL degrees and soon recognised the need for multimedia products to model basic English phonics and words to ESL students.
Annie developed the curriculum and Trevor used his multimedia skills to produce the Australian Accent & Pronunciation Tutor PCVIDEOCD program which has been embraced worldwide by education providers and ESL students alike. This is a very popular entry level program produced to cater for beginners and intermediate users.
The English Pronunciation Teachers Toolkit followed and is now distributed by The Curriculum Corporation to Australia's schools colleges, TAFES and Universities.
As early adopters of the triple bottom line principles, the boultons gradually converted their range to downloadable files, thus reducing the enviromental impacts of packaging and shipping of physical products.
Community interests include helping with economic development and teaching lateral thinking in many countries. They assist schools in the Philippines and work with students at risk in Australian High Schools. The boultons established The Power Program which involves a holistic, body, mind and spirit approach to life and have helped pioneer school based mental illness education training.
The Boultons are currently involved in many international joint ventures, helping to train recruits in Australian Workplace English before their arrival in Australia.
